Everything people ask before they send us a night. If yours is not here, text us and ask.

Money

It depends on the venue, the night, and where the section sits. A floor section on a Thursday and a stage-side section on a Saturday are not close to each other. Rather than give you a range that turns out to be wrong, we quote the real number for your specific night, usually within a few minutes of you asking.

Most nights it is between $50 and $100. It depends on the venue, the night, and how big the section is, and the biggest venues on a peak night can run higher. You see the exact number before you send anything, and it is written on the invoice along with the cancellation policy. It is separate from your bottle minimum and it does not come off your bar tab.

Both, for different things. You pay Houston Nightlife a reservation fee on an invoice, usually $50 to $100. That holds the section, puts your name at the door, and covers us handling the night. You pay the venue your bottle minimum at the table.

No. They are separate numbers and we say both out loud before you commit. The fee is for the booking service. The minimum is what the venue charges for the section.

Your reservation fee becomes credit toward another night with us. The policy is printed on the invoice before you pay it. If the venue closes or cancels the night, you get the choice of a different venue or the credit.

That is between you and the venue at the table, and most venues will do it. We tell you the number upfront specifically so your group can sort that out before the night instead of at 1am.

The night itself

We send you an arrival window with your confirmation, and it is specific to the venue and the night. Turning up an hour after the window is how a held section starts getting eyed by the floor manager, so treat it as real.

You get a name and the reservation details by text the day before. Give your name at the door and your whole party clears on it.

It varies by venue and we send you the specific one with your confirmation. As a general rule for Houston: no athletic wear, no work boots, and most venues are stricter on Saturday than on a weeknight.

Text us. That is what the number is for. Most of the time we can get them cleared, and if the section genuinely will not hold them we will tell you honestly rather than let you find out at the door.

Often, yes. Send it and we will tell you straight away what is still open. Friday and Saturday sections at the busier venues tend to be gone by Thursday, and holiday weekends go earlier than that.

Who we are

A promoter gets you through the door and is paid by the club for bodies. We book sections, we quote the minimum before you commit, we hold the table in writing, and we invoice you as a business with a receipt and a cancellation policy.

The company behind Houston Nightlife. Mastermind Lifestyle has been working Houston nightlife and hospitality since 2013, across more than a dozen venues, with over 100,000 confirmed section sales.

No, and that is deliberate. We only book venues where we can hold a section, quote a real minimum, and get your name to the door. If we cannot do those three things we will tell you rather than take the booking.

We use it to handle your booking and to check in before dates you have told us matter to you, like a birthday. We do not sell it. Reply STOP at any time and the texts end.

That is the other half of the business. Start at the For Venues page. Short version: we build the site, run the ads, close the reservations, and the venue never gets an invoice from us.
